Ulsoor Lake
Ulsoor Lake is a unique goal for all ages. The place holds an integral part for the Bangalore city since it is directly related to the reign of Kempegowda Was historically and now has been one of the oldest and largest lakes of the Bangalore city. Ulsoor lake has been the only witness of what Bangalore was historically and what it is now in the 21st century. The place holds the unique identity and feature because the people usually visit here to relax and calm their mind, rejuvenate themselves, have some late night strolls with their loved ones and mostly to spend some alone time far from the chaos of the urban lifestyle. The place is a man-made waterbody and is also popularly named as Halasuru lake. The place is shut on Wednesday and on normal working days it is open from 6 AM to 8 PM. Also the place is surrounded by the military people who on current days also use the place for training activities. Many prominent tourist places in the city are MG Road, Brigade Road, Commercial Street, and Shivaji Nagar are located at a distance of 3 km from the lake. Mostly people visit here with their family, friends and beloved to relive their missing peace and joy.
Jawahar Bal Bhavan
Jawahar Bal Bhavan is a unique spot to put energy on the outside with your family, kids, friends,etc. The place is located at the MG road near the end of Cubbon Park. The place was first opened for the people to visit in 1967, almost 100 years after the cubbon park was established. The place is spread across 11 acres of land where the theater, the water bodies, the playground, gardens, toy train namely ferrari and Putani Express and the party plots are available for birthday parties, corporate meetings, events etc. The toy train ride, doll show, Mini Park and the craftsmanship along with the forte studios are the most attractive centers of attraction for kids. The place is closed on Mondays and the entry fees are mostly INR 10 for each person.
Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium
The Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium is one of the most beautiful spots in Bangalore. Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE) manages the place. The place is designed in a way to serve an amazing knowledge hub for all the science enthusiasts with the aim of imparting the science and the space based knowledge to it’s seekers. The place answers a lot of questions coming in the mind of its researchers like how stars formed? How has the earth evolved? How gravity works in space, How the origin of life on earth took place, etc. It mainly has the Tie ups with the educational institutes, which fix the students’ visit to the place with an intention to provide the knowledge to them. The sky theater is the cherry on the cake at the place and that attracts the most to the tourists. The place is located at Sri T, Sankey Rd, High Grounds, Bengaluru, Karnataka and the door of this place is closed on Mondays.
